Pastured Chicken Eggs

Our layers spend their spring to fall on pasture. Because we have lots of predators, our chickens don't free range as such, but we have a mobile coop they move into from Spring to Fall and we rotate their forage ground around the property. This lets us protect them from predators with electric netting while they still get to range and enjoy being chickens. Their door is opened at dawn and closed at dark. They eat grass, bugs, worms and anything else they can find as they scratch and pick through the grass.

We do supplement with a corn and soy free feed when they need it, such as in winter, when they move into a traditional coop with an outdoor run.

The result is eggs that are delicious and nutritious. When you cook and eat these eggs, you'll know they didn't come from any grocery store.

**Note: These are unwashed and may have dirt on them. We do this so refrigeration is not needed. You will need to wash them before using them. Once washed, they should be used or refrigerated. **
