At Journey's Rest, we take pride in offering top-quality breeding stock of registerable, 100% New Zealand Kiko goats. Known for their hardiness, adaptability, and meat production, our Kiko goats are an excellent choice for breeders looking to enhance their herd's genetics and overall performance.
Our goats are adapted to the local forage and grasses and, in turn require minimal input.
Our bucklings are born in the spring and weaned at 12 weeks (in July). There are more colors and bucklings than what are pictured here.
Sales are on a first come, first serve basis. A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to reserve the one of your choice so you can arrange pick up and transport. The remaining balance ($200) to be paid on pick up of the goat. All animals must be picked up within 30 days after weaning or the deposit is forfeited and they will be relisted for sale or castrated. They can be picked up before weaning if you plan to bottle feed them.
To come to the farm and choose your buckling from the available ones, choose the "not specified". We will make sure there is one for you to pick up, but cannot guarantee which one it will be. A non-refundable $200 deposit is required to save one for you and the remainder is due upon pickup.
